When OTTO Design Works approached us to help them develop and launch the OTTO Tuning System, we were excited, yet skeptical. Could the iPhone really help a user tune their bike in 5 minutes? Using a custom gauge set, photogrammetry, and a number of other technologies, the OTTO Tuning System can do just that! SMC provided a full line-up of services to develop the OTTO app & its complimentary OTTO DesignWorks eCommerce site as well, including; Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Mobile App Development, eCommerce Development, and Software Support.
Capsenta’s team approached Singlemind with an innovative idea to build an application that would not only allow users to visually build, share, and navigate ontologies (data expressed in a visual format) but also to collaborate with other users in real-time. Capsenta sought out Singlemind’s expertise in Product Research, Product Strategy, Branding, UX Design, Custom Website Development, Web Application Development, Hosting, and Software Support to build Grafo; a one-of-a-kind cloud-based data visualization platform for Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) creation. From interaction design and branding to implementation and launch, our team completed the Grafo project in just under one year. Check out our work now at gra.fo.
When Chris Salem, from Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health and Sciences (KPSAHS), approached our team, he was at a crossroads. He could either use his staff training budget to license a learning management system (LMS) or hire a development vendor to create a custom system. As Chris and our team had previously worked together on several different projects, he believed in our design & development expertise and decided it would be most cost effective for our team to create a custom, proprietary LMS for Kaiser. Leveraging our expertise in Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Custom Website Development, Web App Development and Software Support, we scoped out the entire KPScholar project and our approach for development before generating any designs. We chose to facilitate the development of the site by utilizing open-source technologies; the most cost-effective form of entry.
The team at Final Strike Games approached SingleMind in need of a brand new responsive website that could go live by the public announcement of their exciting new multiplayer video game, Rocket Arena (a multi-year creative effort). In just 6 weeks our team created a site that showcased Final Strike's frontline video game development capabilities. To build the responsive website required, SingleMind utilized a suite of services for the Final Strike project, including: Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Custom Website Development, and Software Support.
The Kaiser School of Allied Health Sciences (KPSAHS) is a long-time client of SingleMind, and is focused on enriching its employees work experiences by providing education and training that helps them to be more effective. They were tired of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on licensing for some of the more restrictive enterprise LMS (learning management system) providers, so a plan was hatched to build something better, using nothing but Open Source platforms. The kpsahs.edu site leverages Drupal 7 for its front-end, allowing its users to purchase online courses. Once purchased, users can hop into the protected LMS site, built on Moodle 2. A simple — but effective — integration ensures that purchased courses result in the user's automatic enrollment into the course, and the sites take advantage of SSO (single sign-on) for simple user authentication. To produce the KPScholar project, we employed our expertise in Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Custom Website Development, Web App Development and Software Support.
Meet Ahmad and Nouf Hasawi: successful salon owners, entrepreneurs and an extraordinary husband and wife team. When they approached SingleMind in late 2018, they were searching for a customer facing mobile portal for their Saudi Arabian salon. They needed something with a seamless user interface that would delight and encourage consumers to interact with the salon on a regular basis. To build out a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for ORA Cosmetics, our team provided a full line-up of services including: Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Custom Website Development, eCommerce Development, Mobile App Development, and Software Support.
With the mission to produce an open-source platform that could be leveraged by the programming community, SingleMind set out to build a new facial recognition programming kit for application across a range of security technologies. Landing on a mobile application accompanied by a video doorbell prototype (which would be paired with the Intel Joule board and RealSense R200 Camera), we created the Smart Doorbell kit to deliver autonomous real-time notifications upon detection of facial features and packages. In essence, the “Smart Doorbell” kit serves as an adjustable platform for expanding facial recognition photo telemetry software. To build the Smart Doorbell kit, we enlisted our leading experts in Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Mobile App Development, and Software Support.
Glostone Trucking Solutions reached out to the SingleMind team with the goal of transforming their paper heavy documentation hand-off processes into a streamlined digital process. Glostone’s previous processes involved their account managers gathering respective compliance documentation per long-haul truck driver and per trip then compiling the documents into a physical binder that would then be handed off to the driver before beginning their trip. In partnership with the Glostone team, SingleMind determined a new process in which Glostone’s account managers would be able to upload these compliance documents to a documentation management website that would then automatically send paperwork to a selected driver. Leveraging our expertise in Product Research, Product Strategy, UX Design, Custom Website Development, Mobile App Development, and Software Support, our team built the Permit Book mobile apps and PermitBook.com in just under seven months. Although PermitBook.com is managed solely by the Glostone Trucking Solutions team, the Permit Book mobile app is now available in the iOS and Google Play app stores!
